共振可饱和吸收体RSA

BATOP可饱和吸收体主要分为2个系列，透射式可饱和吸收体SA和共振可饱和吸收体RSA，都是应用于透射的方式产生锁模激光，相对于可饱和吸收镜利用布拉格反射镜的工作方法，它们的特点是透射式，成本相对较低，而且可饱和吸收体SA的能量密度远高于SESAM。透射式可饱和吸收体SA适用波长范围为980-3000nm，尺寸从1.0 x 1.0~5.0 x 5.0mm，搭配多种不同的封装基底。

德国BATOP提供两款透射式的可饱和吸收体，包括透过应用的SA可饱和吸收体和用于共振器件的透射型共振可饱和吸收体，能够用低廉的价格实现激光锁模，可用于环形激光器。

可饱和吸收体SA的适用波长范围从980nm到3000nm，弛豫时间从500fs~37ps，其尺寸从1.0 mm x 1.0 mm至5.0 mm x 5.0 mm，搭配多种封装基底。而透射式共振可饱和吸收体RSA是BSTOP新推出的产品，其型号只有一款：RSA-1057-53-45-6ps-x。可用于1064nm的激光波长，吸收率A为53%，透过率T为45%，弛豫时间6ps。

SA（Saturable Absorber）- 透射式可饱和吸收体

与可饱和吸收镜SESAM相比，可饱和吸收体SA没有布拉格反射镜，但他可以像可饱和吸收镜一样用于激光器的自启动，被动锁模。两者的不同之处在于可饱和吸收体SA在透射模式下工作，它可以插入例如光纤环激光器中。SA的饱和能量密度远高于SAM的饱和能量密度。

SA可饱和吸收体的最大特点是成本远低于另一种常用的锁模方法——SAM可饱和吸收镜+布拉格反射镜。一般应用于医用光纤激光器的锁模，还可用于>1600nm长波长半导体泵浦固体激光器的锁模。

RSA（Resonant Saturable Absorber in transmission）透射式共振可饱和吸收体

RSA透射式共振可饱和吸收体可用于环形激光器的被动锁模，其方法与SA可饱和吸收体相似。目前只有一个标准型号，适用于1064nm的激光波长。

透射式共振可饱和吸收体RSA具有以下特性:

- 低强度时共振波长处的反射率为零。

- 共振以外所有波长的透射比为零。

- 在共振波长处，透过率随脉冲通量的增大而增大。

- 饱和通量明显低于SA可饱和吸收体，甚至低于一般的可饱和吸收镜。

这些特性使得我们可以构造一个被动锁模光纤环形激光器，激光波长固定在RSA的共振波长处，用于启动cw锁模的低功率阈值。
